Sóley Ella May is a 19 year old singer/songwriter from the Southern Gulf Islands in the Salish Sea. Raised in a musical family, she has been writing and performing since the age of 6, and continues to play an active role in the local music scene today. 

 

In 2017 (age 10), she released a 5 song collaborative EP with Lauren Mann, recorded at Adam Dobres studio, titled ‘My Little Creations‘. Sóley was a member of the Gulf Island School of Performing Arts (GISPA) in the 2021-2022 school year and was a co-writer for the music of the program's rendition of Herman Melville’s Moby Dick. She has also performed in several notable festivals, concerts and radio programs, such as C-FAX 1070, Hornby Island radio, Salmon Arm Roots And Blues Festival, Campbell Bay Music Festival, Pender Island Mosaic Festival, and Daniel Lapp’s Joy of Life, Home for Christmas, and West Coast Kitchen Party Concerts. 

 

Sóley is currently working on more original music to record in the near future.
